Why do I keep trying to make pastel-rainbow things look intimidating?

That's what I'm talkin' about. I knew she had the moxie to take the li'l stinker down. Well done!

That's an especially superb use of the transition from color back to greyscale.
I feel the hand reaching towards the camera on the first panel should be a bit bigger to illustrate depth a little more. It feels too small right now.

By the way, June's expression in panel three is great. You captured it beautifully.

Pastel Power @melaredblu. The Aurora Borealis is pastel, but represents tremendous power. Never equate effectiveness with garish display--besides, I like your use of color as it is.

@GroovyKinda: Ooh, you might be right about the walleyed thing. I'll need to watch out for that!

@NitztheBloody: Thank you! I'm glad you like it.

@Hjels: Yeah, I know. I'm trying to get better at not overdoing the dialog thing. That minimalism thread on Webcomic Underdogs really got me thinking.

@GroovyKinda: I kept waffling on whether I needed a "pained grunt" sound effect, but I finally decided to just leave it silent. Glad the expression pulls it through.

@Delta-v: Well thank you! I do really love the Auroras, too. Hmm, maybe I should add those to my visual effects in the future.
