That's just Antarctica. All the rest of them are in New York and Tokyo.

Yup, that middle panel took forever, but the monsters were fun to design.

@melaredblu: The monsters are great. My favorite is actually the candy stripe pole and fairy. Reminds me of something I used to see in my childhood.

Those are some pretty awesome (and unsettling) monsters there. Heading for the Mountains of Madness, are they?
So, are we gonna see a June Cordelia smackdown? I'm rooting for the witch in the chicken hat.
Or will it be a Cordelia: "Think, you fool," moment?
Either way, that Cordelia is one of the best characters you've drawn. The stance, the face, the shading-it's like your style has really clicked.

@JWCraig: I kind of like the fairy too, actually. I like to imagine that even though it's the smallest Monochrome there, it would probably be one of the toughest opponents.

@GroovyKinda: If you scan the crowd, you'll notice a monster clown in there, too.

He hee Heee... Nope. Don't see no monster clown.
I do see a happy clown, ready to spring out and scream happy thoughts into someone's skull. At night. From inside their closet. Or maybe their fridge.
Or under their pillow...

All clowns are monsters!!!

Sorry, sorry. Just working through some stuff. I really like that eclectic collection of monsters. Monster design is hard, and you've delivered with all of them here, I think. Getting almost a Persona 4 vibe from this. Only even creepier. And I'm holding my breath for Cordelia to finally get her moment. :)

This is off-topic, but I just thought of it, and at my age a thing postponed is a thing forgotten, soooo...

I am intrigued by your writing style. If you don't mind, what else have you written, and where can I find it?

@Hjels: A lot of these are inspired by things I've seen in video games. For example, the puppet is based on an enemy in Super Smash Bros Brawl, the snail thing is based on Omanyte from Pokemon, and the mask is inspired by Phanto from Super Mario Bros 2.

@Delta-v: If you click on my username, it will bring you to my profile where my other two webcomics can be seen. I've also done some non-visual storytelling in collaboration with the creators of another webcomic, The Demon Archives. It's called The Birkenhain Journal and you can follow the link here:
Incidentally, The Demon Archives is a really good sci-fi/action. If you have the time, I would recommend reading it.

@melaredblu: Aah, good! Google popped up several possibles, so your information has confirmed my hopes, and prevented me from wasting my time on the pretenders. Many thanks, I'm off to gorge.
