How are they even breathing out there? Well, that's an excellent question and the answer to that is--HEY, LOOK AT THAT THING OVER THERE!

@melaredblu: Squirrel!

I guess June tried. Then immediately gave up and got all crankypants. I'm just not a big fan of June right now.

At least Cordelia's doing something. And give her credit-she didn't ditch June when she had the chance (probably because that would've meant leaving Leopold behind).

And there must be air, because Leopold's ears and everyone else's hair is blowin' in the wind.

@GroovyKinda: You're not wrong about any of that, but keep in mind, this is April talking. June fought off that pig monochrome for her, came to check up on her the next day, and saved her house from the spider (albeit reluctantly). Cordelia is right, but she's being kind of harsh, so naturally April will stick up for her.
And, on a more practical note, it's a bad idea for them to be ragging on each other while they're all crammed together onto a flying vacuum.

@melaredblu: That's right. I forgot about the earlier saves.
Just another reason to go back and read the series again!
And yes, flying vacuums are no place for those sorts of monkeyshines.

Added to TVTropes as Crowning Moment of Heartwarming.

@GroovyKinda: I'm comitted. Team Cordy all the way for me. Though yeah, she could be nicer. Good for June to have a friend like April.

Have you done anything to the way you apply shadows by the way? The seem much more detailed.

@GroovyKinda: Exactly. See, I was hoping people would catch on to why April would say that stuff, but maybe I didn't make it very clear. Should I have had her explicitly mention that June has helped her out in the past?
Believe it or not, this page was really meant to give April a chance to speak up for once. She hasn't had much of a role in this story and I'd like to flesh her out more.

@NitztheBloody: Heartwarming? This comic? Oh no, I must be losing my touch!
But seriously, I'm glad you got something out of this page and I really appreciate the TVtropes entries. You're awesome!

@Hjels: I'm sort of imitating Jack Kirby a bit, who I studied in art class. He had very bold, dramatic shadows that blocked out large sections of muscle to emphasize their mass. None of my characters are muscular enough to fit his style, but I like the exaggerated shadows so I thought I'd try a little of it myself, just to see how it would turn out.

@melaredblu: I'm sure most people did. I don't have the best memory or atten-LOOK AT THAT!
It was nice to see her stand up for June. Sometimes Cordelia (and your readers) need a reminder.
