I LOVE the textures on that hand. And why do *I* get the feeling, old Brunswick is going to meet with a undesireable end if Leopold and Chroma don't pick up on what's happening right sharpish. Can't trust Chuckles and Chucklette to intervene in time.

@Hjels: I think Chroma might have an inkling something's amiss. The Monochromes have a habit of telegraphing their moves big-time.

I really like Chroma's reaction in panel 5. I've seen "takes", "double takes", "spit takes", and "eye bugging takes", but I can't remember ever seeing a "hair ornament take" before. I love your off-beat sense of humor!

@Delta-v: Thank you, but it's actually just her hair that's puffing up and that's really common in anime. Even Miyazaki, who doesn't use many anime cliches, played with this one.

@melaredblu: Now that I look more carefully, her hair whatzits didn't lengthen, you just changed the perspective a bit. The only thing worse than ignoring a clever innovation is crediting someone for something that didn't happen. Sorry. *blush* Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go dribble my oatmeal down my chin, lose my hearing aid, and drive with my turn signal on.

I still like her expression, though.

@Delta-v: If anything, it's my fault for having too low of a shade contrast between her hair and hair decorations and now that I look at it, that panel is crowding her in too much. I think I'll do a little editing on it when I get the time.
*edit* There, the composition should be much clearer now. I need to learn to break my panels more often.
