At least her glasses are clean this time.

Cameos, cameos everywhere! Surprise! I finally got a chance to do some actual scenery with actual people in it, so here's a load of cameos.

From left to right:

Striker from I Killed the Hero?!
Tenzin from Demon Archives
Zoie from Zoie
Bea from Aqua Scope
Rai from October 20th
Ruby from Ruby Nation
Britney from DEGAF
Etoile from the Etoile series
Pato from M9Girls!
Flutterby from Sam the Dragon
Gio from True Power
Robespierre and Kittenzia from Groovy, Kinda

There will be more cameos this chapter. When, you ask? I'll never tell...

Zounds! Let me be the first to humbly say that "THAT'S SO WONDERFULLY WONDERFUL!"
I spotted Tenzin and Zoie right away.
And Kittenzia (Stephanie) is a perfect choice for a fantasy character. As is Robie.
But all of it pales before Princess Chroma in clean glasses, a fake nose (I hope it's fake) and that feather duster.

@GroovyKinda: Haha, feather-duster! That's a good one, never heard it before.
I'm glad you like the cameo. I thought Kittenzia would fit right in.

the perfect disguise... no one will notice

I can't find the original Chroma, but I must say that mustache is working nicely for Clark Kent.

Reply NitztheBloody, September 24th, 2014, 8:46 pm

@NitztheBloody: Oh, and thanks for the Ruby cameo! :) Though I doubt she'd just be sitting on the sidelines if she were more than a cameo character. (Same goes for Tenzin, Pato, Gio, and others I haven't read...yet.)

A cameo?! Why thank you!!

I love her disguise. >< I certainly wouldn't recognize her, but then again I am awful at remembering names and faces to being with. lol

@NitztheBloody: I'm glad Chroma is enjoying her fan club.
True, I cannot write fanfic for Pato in Elysium since she is really more the hands-on approach....

Reply melaredblu, September 25th, 2014, 3:45 am

@schlissel: Pure genius, it is.

Reply melaredblu, September 25th, 2014, 3:47 am

@NitztheBloody: Well yeah, they would normally never just stand and watch, but the story might get...kinda weird if I have all these cameos acting in-character. If you want, you can pretend they're just cosplayers, haha.

Reply melaredblu, September 25th, 2014, 3:48 am

@Cave: Thanks! I was going to give her Groucho Marx brows too, but then I remembered she kind of already has some of her own.

Reply melaredblu, September 25th, 2014, 3:48 am

@hipopotamo: I can just imagine the teleporting accident that landed her there, though.

Reply ErinfromDEGAF, September 26th, 2014, 3:46 pm

I spy a Britney! Thanks for the character cameo!

Reply melaredblu, September 27th, 2014, 1:31 pm

@ErinfromDEGAF: You're welcome! Thanks for creating her.

Eeeh! I see Rai! And lots of other familiar people. Thank you so much.

Though it's quite cruel of you to leave us hanging after that last page, though. :)

Reply JDPftw, September 28th, 2014, 1:26 pm

Ugh, I don't know any of them! I need to read more webcomics...

Reply melaredblu, September 28th, 2014, 5:10 pm

@Hjels: This coming from the grandmaster of cliffhangers himself.

Reply melaredblu, September 28th, 2014, 5:12 pm

@JDPftw: I recommend them all, but for you in particular, since you like video games, I think you would especially like I Killed the Hero?!, so if you're not sure which one to start with, there you go.

Reply GroovyKinda, September 29th, 2014, 3:51 pm

@melaredblu: I can't help but think that all this wonderfulness and silliness is setting us up for tragedy.
Not that you would ever do such a thing...

Reply melaredblu, September 29th, 2014, 6:39 pm

@GroovyKinda: Come on, not everything in this comic is doom and gloom. It's still a magical girl story, after all. Can't I be lighthearted now and then?
But I could be saying that just to catch you off-guard too. You can never teeeell...

Reply JDPftw, September 29th, 2014, 8:55 pm

@melaredblu: Thanks for the recommendation! I've started reading I Killed the Hero?! and I'm really enjoying it :)
